Our client

Our client is a global leader in the industrial engineering sector and they are looking for a seasoned and outgoing sales professional with a successful track record to join their team as they continue to expand across Canada. 

What will you do?

  • Develop and execute targeted sales plans to exceed revenue goals, prioritizing face-to-face meetings and customer-centric solutions with OEM and strategic distributor partners.
  • Nurture existing accounts, identify expansion opportunities, and minimize customer attrition through proactive relationship management.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of power transmission and mechanical systems to educate customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences, from timely quotes to swift problem resolution.
  • Train distributor salespeople and end customer maintenance, purchasing & engineering teams to clearly understand their product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Gather valuable insights on customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and participate in industry events to reinforce their brand and product offerings.

Who are you?

  • 5+ years of sales, engineering, or related technical experience, with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to manage a territory independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of power transmission principles and the ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to identify opportunities, develop winning strategies, and adapt to changing market conditions.
