Our Client

Our client is one of the biggest Canadian manufacturers serving the building materials and home improvement industry.

What will you do?

  • Spearhead the development and implementation of innovative sales strategies to stay ahead of the competition, considering current and future market conditions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients to identify growth areas, address any challenges, and develop long-term business plans.
  • Create and execute comprehensive plans for each client that align product and service offerings with their specific needs, aiming to achieve business goals.
  • Apply data-driven insights to foster growth and solve complex problems.
  • Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere within the organization, working closely with various departments to achieve business objectives and provide excellent service.
  • Lead and inspire your team, promoting engagement and high performance.
  • Ensure superior service levels and seamless execution.
  • Oversee inventory planning, manage fill-rate performance, and optimize inventory levels through accurate forecasting.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies for various distribution channels.
  • Create and manage budgets that support business goals, ensuring projects stay on track financially and in terms of deadlines.
  • Set clear performance standards, promote accountability, and ensure consistent delivery.

Who are you?

  • 10+ years of sales experience, ideally in the building materials industry or consumer goods industry.
  • Proven track record of leading a team including coaching, mentoring and developing high performers.
  • Proven track record of having successfully grown revenue consistently in key retail accounts and big box stores.
  • Having an existing network of contacts to tap into a huge asset to hit the ground running.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is a strong asset.
