What will you do?
The Manager, Design Implementation plays a crucial role in bringing design concepts to life. This involves overseeing the transformation of initial designs into tangible products, while ensuring adherence to quality standards, budget limitations, and project timelines. This position requires close collaboration with various internal teams to effectively execute design projects.
Responsibilities:

Architectural Design Management:
- Manage the selection and oversight of external architectural consultants.
- Act as the bridge between the development and construction teams, translating design concepts into constructible plans.
- Oversee architectural design contracts.
- Lead the architectural design process from concept to project completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and constraints.
- Conduct detailed reviews of architectural drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Guide project teams on architectural design decisions, technical details, and construction methods.
- Collaborate with project managers to align procurement activities with project schedules.
- Proactively identify and resolve design issues and conflicts.
- Establish and maintain design standards and quality control procedures.
- Mentor and manage the internal design team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Contribute to early-stage project planning and acquisition activities.
- Ensure design solutions align with project budgets.

Interior and Landscape Design Direction:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for interior layouts, landscape design, and interior finishes, aligning with the company’s vision.
- Collaborate with the design team to establish the aesthetic direction for each project, incorporating innovative ideas, current trends, and client preferences.
- Demonstrate expertise in architectural drafting, spatial planning, and interior design principles.
- Review and evaluate design proposals to ensure functionality, compliance, and design integrity.
- Stay informed about new technologies, materials, and best practices in interior and landscape design.
- Ensure design solutions align with project budgets.

Brand Integrity and Marketing:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
- Provide architectural expertise to support the creation of compelling visuals and content for project brochures and marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of corporate and project websites.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Provide strong leadership that fosters teamwork, creativity, and accountability.
- Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between departments on design-related goals and initiatives.
- Guide and influence decision-making to align with design objectives.
- Promote a culture of innovation and exploration of new design ideas.
- Regularly communicate project status to senior management and stakeholders.
Who are you?
- 7+ years of experience in an architectural firm, with a focus on design leadership from concept to construction documents.
- Experience managing high-rise residential projects, including budget management, client relations, and team coordination.
- Strong design sensibility with the ability to create aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces.
- Proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Strong project management skills, including budget oversight and timeline management.
- Understanding of sustainable design principles.
- Ability to solve design challenges creatively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- MBA in Real Estate is an asset.
