Location: Remote in Montreal

Salary: 130k to 140k + Equity

Our Client

Our client is a Series A funded tech startup based in Montreal that will forever change the landscape of how consumers interact with retailers online and in the broader ecommerce marketplace. They have put customers first in their evolving product which helps them provide actionable insights to their ecommerce and retail clients along with clean and crisp intent data.

What will you do?

• Work with the development team to ideate the different software solutions
• Collaborate on the design of the client-side and server-side architecture
• Work with the product team to understand and build upon the requirements
• Build the front-end and backend web applications and online services
• Define, propose and implement software and data pipelines
• Test software to ensure correctness, responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and analyse code, propose and implement improvements
• Identify and implement best practices, conduct code reviews
• Write technical documentation and specifications

Who are you?

• 7+ years of software development working experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Software Engineering or related field
• Good knowledge of React.js, Firebase, node.js and other web technologies
• Experience with various ecommerce technologies such as Shopify and Amazon
• Experience defining deployment CI/CD pipelines for a live product ecosystem
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or serverless server models (Firebase, knative, etc.)
• Experience developing mobile applications on Android and iOS
• Experience developing a SDK is a plus
• A natural entrepreneurial and innovation driven nature
